Answer 1:
Generally speaking, I tend to agree that it is better to have car-free zones in the city center. It is an effective way of preventing road congestion in the city center, where foot traffic and other kinds of traffic might be more suitable. Not all cities can afford this, though.
Answer 2:
Yes, electric vehicles are certainly better from an environment perspective. It is less convenient to drive an electric vehicle today because of a lack of recharging infrastructure. However, I believe that this will not be a problem in the future.
Answer 3:
It is extremely important to have various methods of public transportation. People would have more choices when it comes to price, and it would make the overall transportation system more dynamic and less prone to critical disruption.
Answer 4:
I'm not really sure because I haven't seen a driverless car before, but I imagine traffic congestion and the rate of accidents due to human error will be reduced dramatically. Also, I suppose we wouldn't ever get lost because of the GPS installed in driverless cars.
Answer 5:
I think all kinds of electric vehicles and transportation running on green energy will be abundant in the future. Research and development of greener and more fuel efficient energy sources is progressing very quickly, so I believe it wouldn't be too long until that future comes.
